The practice was established over a hundred years ago by a single-handed practitioner, Dr Arthur Drysdale, joined in the early 1920’s by Dr Tuke, Dr Fairley and Dr Black. The commitment to family medicine established by these Doctors was carried through the war years and beyond by Dr MacEwen, Dr Lind, Dr Rutherford and more recently by Dr Jack, all still fondly remembered by our senior patients today
In 1997 the practice moved from Comely Park to its current premises in Robertson Road, adopting the name of New Park Medical Practice
There have been many changes over the years, but personal care by one’s own family doctor remains our tradition
